Reaching your peak (and staying there)

I offer one-to-one Performance Coaching and Performance Psychology sessions. My knowledge and experience in psychotherapy enables a deep and effective method of working with high-level performers. I use a variety of psychological tools and approaches and believe that effective Performance Psychology is based on a collaborative relationship, built on trust and respect that develops a creative, challenging and rewarding environment to effect lasting change.

I consider any psychological or emotional blocks to performance. I also explore with each client the mindset and behaviours that help build their Optimal Performance State. This work is for those who feel that they are not currently performing at their best but also for those who are already doing well and want to maintain the quality of their performance.

  • Drive and energy
  • Self-awareness and self-discipline
  • Concentration and focus
  • Self-confidence and a positive mindset
  • Maintain the process of incremental improvement
  • Keep going in challenging situations and inspire others

  • Accept failure as a chance to improve
  • Psychological well-being

Psychological recovery from physical injury, stress and burnout

Get back on the horse

When the body hurts the mind hurts too. I have spent the last 20 years working with clients who have experienced both physical and psychological trauma. This ranges from athletes and performers who have struggled to regain confidence after injury and clients who have experienced bullying or burnout in the workplace. Often the emotional scars are less obvious to both sufferers and those around them. I am an accredited EMDR therapist and use this technique with this work.

  • Regaining confidence
  • Facing challenging situations, rather than avoiding them
  • Reducing anxiety
  • Reducing hypervigilance
  • Reducing symptoms of ‘trauma’-flashbacks, nightmares, irritability
